The prices in Mi Makutu come from the people doing the shopping. When somebody adds or confirms a price, another family can see where their list costs less — and when they do the same, it helps you.

Questions
Do I have to pay?
No. Mi Makutu is free.
Do I have to sign up?
No. You can start straight away. Your phone makes a random code; we ask for no name, no email and no phone number.
Who keeps the prices up to date?
The people doing the shopping. They add the price they see on the shelf and confirm the ones already in the app. Prices change, so the app shows when a price was last seen.
Who can see my list?
Your shopping list stays yours alone. What is shared with everyone are the prices, the aisles and the barcodes.
